Join us for a celebration of local high school musical theater on the main stage of Reynolds Hall. The Smith Center will present the Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards recognizing nominees for Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress from this year's high school musical theater productions as well as students and ensemble casts in 14 different award categories. Be in attendance and help us pack the house with family, friends, mentors, teachers and those who just love musical theater. Select nominees will perform in front of a panel of esteemed judges, four school ensembles will perform a number from their show, numerous students and schools will take home awards in their nominated categories, and two students will be selected to represent Nevada in the 2023 Jimmy® Awards in New York City.
