"Wonderland" Dlux Puppets (Education - Troesh)

A fun musical adaptation with actors, high-quality puppetry and digitally projected
scenery all ages will enjoy! With remarkable life sized puppetry, digital scenery
(Live Virtual Set™ by Steve Axtell), and the clever use of well-known hit songs, the
classic tale of Alice’s journey through the marvelous world of the Cheshire Cat,
Mad Hatter, Caterpillar, Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum and the Queen of Hearts
becomes a fun musical adaptation. In this visually engaging production, all the characters who encounter Alice are
intricately engineered life size puppets, hand built, performed and voiced by DLUX Puppets’ founder Derek Lux. Alice is
played by Lauren Lux, his wife, DLUX Puppets’ Education Director and active elementary school teacher who developed a
performance activity kit for students who attend the show. While the production is designed to teach children how to use
the power of their words, thoughts and feelings in a positive way, above all else, DLUX Puppet’s Wonderland is a feast for
the eyes and an afternoon of fun.
